These one, two or three day tours combine light bush walking and 4 wheel drive touring.

The rock art in the general Kununurra area is extraordinary in its richness and diversity. Many of the themes found in the rock images are still being painted onto canvas by local descendents today. The rock art ranges from engraved images, stencils, freehand paintings, to large anthropomorphic figures, animal motifs and the mysterious Bradshaws. Accompanied by an Aboriginal tour guide, several sites will be viewed in and around Kununurra. Arrangements can be made to visit one of the communities, meet with Aboriginal people and look at some of the art being painted by Aboriginal people today. Opportunities are provided for those interested in purchasing Aboriginal art to buy it directly from the Aboriginal artists.

Another option is a full days tour to an isolated community in the Keep River area with Biddy Simon and her family to learn about bush foods and medicinal plants. Visit to rock art and other archaeological sites of this area can also be included in the itinerary.

Kimberley Specialists have a full commitment to long term land care and environmental and cultural sustainability, and as part of this commitment, a $25 per head 'enviro' levy is included in the tour cost. This is administered by a recognised land care group to go towards various environmental, cultural and land care projects in the Kimberley.
